Victoria Eggs shortlisted for Museums + Heritage Awards Business of the Year

British homeware and giftware brand Victoria Eggs has been shortlisted for the Museums + Heritage Awards 2026, standing out as the only giftware company recognised in the Business of the Year category.
Announced on 12 March 2026, the awards celebrate excellence across the global museums, galleries and heritage sector, with shortlisted organisations spanning the UK and international cultural institutions.
Within a category largely made up of technology and digital innovation providers, Victoria Eggs proudly represents the Giftware industry in this category. This recognition reinforces the role of retail as a key part of the visitor experience, not just commercially, but as an extension of storytelling and engagement.
Founded 15 years ago this month, Victoria Eggs has built a reputation for creating exceptional design-led homeware and gifts that allow visitors to take home a lasting connection to the places they’ve experienced. “We’re incredibly proud to be shortlisted for the Museums + Heritage Awards, particularly as the only giftware brand in the category,” said Victoria Eggs, Founder.
“Museums and heritage spaces are built on a rich tapestry of historical storytelling, and well-made, thoughtful products play an important role in extending people’s connection to that story that stays with them for the years to come.”
At a time when so much of the sector’s innovation is focused on digital transformation, Victoria Eggs’ recognition highlights the continued importance of traditional crafts to create a tangible, lasting design within the visitor experience.
All Victoria Eggs products are proudly hand made in the UK, supporting a network of local manufacturers and craftspeople. The brand has always championed British production, sustainable practices, and creating products designed to be kept and treasured.
This nomination also provides a platform to advocate for the wider community of UK makers.
“We see this as something bigger than us,” Victoria added. “There is an incredible community of British makers producing thoughtful, high-quality pieces - an antidote to throwaway production and unnecessary carbon emissions. I’m so unbelievably proud to represent that; and to help champion the importance of UK manufacturing across the heritage sector.”
Victoria Eggs pieces are stocked in museums, galleries and independent retailers across the UK, and globally, helping cultural organisations extend their storytelling into retail spaces in a meaningful and considered way.
The winners of the Museums + Heritage Awards will be announced at a ceremony on 13 May 2026 at Hilton Park Lane, London.
