Adhock began on a farm in Devon, where our founder Nick - armed with creativity, curiosity, and a passion for sustainability - started crafting candles from upcycled wine and spirit bottles. What began as a small idea soon caught fire (pun intended!), and Adhock was born.

Since those early days pouring wax in our kitchen and dining room, we’ve grown into a full homeware and lifestyle brand. Today, our own range of wine bottle candles, reed diffusers, soy wax melts, and refillable tealights can be found in over 70 shops across the UK.

We’re still rooted in everything that made us different from the start: thoughtful design, conscious choices, and meaningful products. But we’ve expanded our horizons - Adhock is now a carefully curated shop of unique handmade homewares and gifts from all over the world. Every product has a story. We work with independent makers and artisans who care deeply about their craft, just like we do.
