Language around disability has also changed a lot over recent years. With this
document we hope to give an overview into acceptable and unacceptable language in

As we all know Language is powerful. It influences both how we understand and how we
behave. It is therefore important that we recognise this and seek to use language that
builds up rather than hinders.
