Behind the Shelves: A Sales Manager’s Perspective on Toys, Gifts and Tech

The UK Giftware and Toy sector is undergoing exciting changes amid shifts in consumer buying habits and continuing pressures that inflation exerts on household spending.

During the webinar Aspin’s Lizzi Benger will be joined in conversation with Nicki Gumbrell, Sales Manager for UK and Ireland at Bigjigs, one of the UK’s best loved and most respected suppliers of quality toys and gifts.

Having started her career in retail, Nicki has enjoyed over 20 successful years in senior sales roles, latterly with Gibsons and more recently with Bigjigs where she joined in 2023.

Lizzi will be talking to Nicki about her perspectives on the industry, some of the day-to-day challenges that she faces with her interactions with buyers and what it takes to be successful in sales on a consistent basis.

They will also talk about why Aspin’s catalogue and sales ordering application, PixSell has been deployed at Bigjigs, and how it has become such an indispensable tool for Nicki and her front-line sales agents as they service their customers across the country.

During the webinar there will be plenty of opportunity for participating members to ask their own questions of Nicki and Lizzi.
