Who is Mondu and how can we help
1. When do I get paid once an order is placed?
The trigger is once an order is shipped. That starts the 30 day payment period and it also starts your payout, 7 days after.
2. Does it work for International Suppliers?
It works for buyers in all the EU countries that we discussed. Sadly we are not yet available in the US or Asia.
3. Can it be offered to my own Suppliers and if yes, where do they need to be located?
YES. Many of our customers also introduce us to their suppliers as a way for them to get better terms for themselves (and all their other customers as well). They will need to be located in the EU/UK countries we work with today.
4. Do my customers pay any interest or fees on using this service?
You buyers don't pay for the 30/60 day terms. If they choose to use the instalment product they have a Buyer Service Fee that is fixed at point of sale. For example this is 9.99% for 12 month instalments.
5. Is there a difference in interest/fees for 30, 60 day invoices and instalments?
Yes, the price will vary based on the length of time as we are giving you the money upfront. As above for instalment there is also a cost for the buyer.
6. Does Mondu chase the payments, if late from my customers?
Yes, we take on the risk of non-payment so it's up to us to get customers to pay us. This means emails and calls to the buyers.
7. Is Mondu likely to look at the US market in the future?
We would love to, the first phase however will be to completely cover Europe.
