Frank Fletcher is currently CEO of the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust having been involved since it’s inception. The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust takes young people aged between 8-24 sailing to help them regain their confidence, on their way to recovery from Cancer. The British Allied Trades Federation (BATF) were delighted to be able to give the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust a donation of £19,500 to enable them to purchase 162 new life jackets to be used across their fleet. The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust works with young people aged 8 – 24 in recovery from cancer. The Trust provides a lifeline after treatment to start re-building their lives and confidence, using sailing as a mechanism for this. The BATF Directors were pleased to be able to support the unique cause in such a practical way.
