Grace Jackson Design Announces First Licensed Greeting Card Range in Collaboration with Artist Emily Smith

Grace Jackson Design is delighted to announce the launch of its first-ever licensed greeting card range, created in partnership with acclaimed British artist Emily Smith. The vibrant new collection blends Emily’s expressive and much-loved animal characters with Grace Jackson’s signature hot foil detailing, resulting in a joyful, colour-forward series designed to brighten every occasion. The range will officially debut at Spring Fair 2026 on stand 3R37.

A Collaboration Sparked at Harrogate

The partnership began organically after Grace and Emily spent two consecutive years exhibiting in the same area at Harrogate Home & Gift. “You get to know your exhibitor pals well,” Grace explains, “and Emily and I had talked about doing a range together because we both share a huge love of colour.” Busy schedules meant the idea was briefly shelved — until Emily called out of the blue to ask whether Grace would be interested in licensing her artwork. From that moment, the collaboration gathered momentum.

“This is my first licensed range,” Grace adds. “I hadn’t really thought about doing something like this so early in my business, but sometimes opportunities arise and you have to grab them with both hands.”

Bright, Bold & Beautifully Foiled

The collection features 20 A6 portrait designs, all printed in the UK on FSC-certified board and finished with gold hot foil. True to both brands’ joyful palettes, the cards are bright, bold and brimming with personality.

The range includes cards for everyday sending, birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, anniversaries and Valentine’s Day. Each design is supplied plastic-free, comes with a white envelope, and is blank inside for a personal message.

Emily’s characterful illustrations take centre stage, with Grace designing the layouts, wording and overall presentation to bring the collection together. Among the 19 featured animals (including two different flamingo designs), long-standing customer favourites such as Camilla Ostrich, Bella Bee, and Hermione Hummingbird appear prominently.

“Seeing my characters brought to life in such a new and exciting way has been a joy,” Emily says. “Grace’s design style and love of colour is such a perfect fit — it feels like the range was meant to happen.”
