NEW COLLABORATION WITH WIDDOP & CO SPARKS EXCITING DEVELOPMENT FOR SHROPSHIRE ARTIST MEG HAWKINS

Chances are that in your home is a product made by the gift and homeware giant, Widdop & Co. Internationally renowned and Currently one of the largest suppliers of gift and home accessories to trade, Widdop & Co has 22 brands whose designs are exclusive to the company. The newest addition to the Widdop & Co. stable is Shropshire artist, Meg Hawkins. This marks an incredibly exciting development in Meg’s expanding business and the products will be launched at the International Spring Fair 2019.

Meg Hawkins is a licensed, published British watercolour artist whose work features on greetings cards, prints, gifts and homeware. Meg’s unique style reflects the the movement and energy of the subjects she paints. Meg was introduced to Widdop & Co by CEO of the Giftware Association, Sarah Ward, who has been a champion of MHA since Meg became a member of the GA 2 years ago. The Widdop & Co team fell in love with Meg’s work, specifically her animal range and have commissioned a range of exclusive designs for them.

Meg says, “I am delighted to be working with Widdop & Co and their enthusiasm for my work and commitment to my brand has marked a significant development in the growth of MHA. It has been a real pleasure to design an exclusive collection for the company and I am really excited for the launch of the full range of products and designs at the International Spring Fair next year.”
